Based on our previous research, our initial ideas for our publication invloved the inclusion of our own 'propaganda style' imagery. We felt inspired by the textures seen within our table the previous week and also wanted to improve upon the delivery of our idea to create a retro looking aesthetic.
Initial areas for concentration were upon typography and image, major elements we imagines within our publication.
We were aware of our interest in making use of the Risograph printing at Notewell Press and I had knowledge of the colour range Nick had: Red, Blue and Black. These were colours that we felt would work well for our propaganda aesthetic. We made the decision to concentrate on this limited colour scheme alongside the typical silvers and metallics as characteristic of the futuristic and space theme.
Silver foiling was also picked up as an option for experimentation with imagery...
